To My Beloved Richie
Paige is a woman of God, blessed with all the marks of a good life. A loving husband. Three charming children. A supportive church family. She has been redeemed from her former brokenness, and has spent decades receiving wise counsel in various forms. But one night, her happy home is invaded, reminding her that time is not an adequate escape from her disturbing past.
God's Lesson Plan for Love (and sex!)
“Marriage is honorable among all, and the bed undefiled; but fornicators and adulterers God will judge.” Hebrews 13:4
In a culture that celebrates sexual immorality in all forms, the Church is responsible for leading our youth to God’s purpose. Something we’ve done by fighting for Abstinence Education and honoring sexual purity. But as worldly teachings are creeping in, purity has become a farce, and the Christian marriage is disintegrating even more. Despite the virtue of purity, Abstinence Education is simply not enough to heal a generation of young people being tugged in every direction. But Marriage Education will not only give youthful purity a purpose, it may just start to heal new generations of Christian marriages long before their bud.
Meet the Author
Rebekah Tyne McKamie was born in Colorado Springs in 1986. She is a sinner who needs a Savior, and met Jesus Christ as a child. From then, she took her calling from Proverbs 3:5-6:
"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths."
Mrs. McKamie is extremely home and family oriented. She is joyfully married to her high school sweetheart and spends most of her time homeschooling their three energetic children. Their home is on the eastern plains of Colorado, where they surround themselves with fur babies and feathered egg-makers.
When not teaching, writing, or generally enjoying God's blessings, Mrs. McKamie is at her beloved church home. There, she makes a joyful noise with the worship team, or helps her husband, the Youth Pastor.
Following the paths of the Holy Spirit has been a challenging, exhausting, fulfilling joy, and Mrs. McKamie dare not live her life another way.
